Terms of Use

These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Tradesite.pro (the “Service”) operated by Tradesite.pro (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.

1. About the Service

Tradesite.pro lets tradespeople and contractors create and publish a simple business website. You can build and preview your site for free. A paid subscription is required to publish your site live on the internet. Plans start from £6 per month (Basic, Pro, or Pro Max); current prices are shown on our website and at checkout, excluding VAT where applicable.

2. Eligibility and accounts

  • You must be at least 18 years old and using the Service for a trade or business purpose.
  • You are responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for all activity under your account.
  • Information you provide must be accurate. You must have the right to use any logos, photos, and text you upload.

3. Subscriptions, billing and cancellation

  • Subscriptions are billed monthly in advance through Stripe. Prices are shown on our website at the time you subscribe.
  • You may cancel at any time from your account dashboard. Cancellation stops future charges; your site may be taken offline at the end of the current billing period unless you re-subscribe.
  • We do not charge a setup fee. There is no minimum contract term beyond the current paid month.
  • If a payment fails, we may suspend your live site until payment is resolved.

4. Your rights as a consumer (UK)

If you are a consumer (an individual acting for purposes outside your trade, business, or profession), you have statutory rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and related legislation. Nothing in these Terms affects those rights.

Where the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 apply to an online subscription, you may have a 14-day right to cancel starting from the day after you enter the contract. If you ask us to begin the digital service immediately during that period (for example, by publishing your site live), you acknowledge that you may lose your right to cancel once the service has been fully performed, and you will be charged a proportionate amount for the period used if you cancel. 5. Acceptable use

You must not use the Service to:

  • publish unlawful, misleading, defamatory, or infringing content;
  • impersonate another person or business;
  • distribute malware, spam, or attempt to breach our systems;
  • use the Service in a way that could harm other users or our infrastructure.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with notice where reasonable.

6. Your content and intellectual property

  • You retain ownership of content you provide (business details, photos, logos). You grant us a licence to host, display, and process that content solely to provide the Service, including generating and publishing your site.
  • We own the Service, templates, software, and branding. These Terms do not transfer any of our intellectual property to you.
  • AI-generated copy is produced from your inputs. You are responsible for reviewing it before going live and for ensuring it is accurate and compliant with advertising and trade regulations that apply to your business.

7. Custom domains and third-party services

If you connect a domain you own, you are responsible for DNS configuration at your domain registrar. We are not responsible for downtime or misconfiguration caused by third-party domain or DNS providers.

8. Availability and changes

We aim to keep the Service available but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may modify features, pricing, or these Terms. Material changes will be communicated with reasonable notice (for example by email or in-app notice). Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

9. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, fraud, or any other liability that cannot be limited under English law.

Subject to the above, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss (including loss of profits, business, or goodwill). Our total liability to you for any claim arising from the Service in any 12-month period is limited to the fees you paid to us in that period, or £100 if you have not paid any fees, whichever is greater.

We are not responsible for how visitors use your published site or for leads, contracts, or disputes between you and your customers.

10. Ending the agreement

You may close your account at any time by contacting us or using available account controls. We may terminate or suspend access if you materially breach these Terms or if we discontinue the Service (with reasonable notice where possible).

11. Governing law and disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer resident in Scotland or Northern Ireland you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
